Shipping and Delivery Terms and Conditions — Maderico
1. Processing and Manufacturing Time
Since these are personalized products made to order, all our items require a processing and manufacturing time of 1 to 3 business days before being shipped. Transport time is added to this processing time.
2. Shipping Times and Costs
Shipments are handled through courier agencies (Correos Express, UPS, or other operators depending on the destination). Shipping costs are calculated automatically in the shopping cart before completing the purchase.
-
Spain (Peninsula): 2–5 business days
-
Balearic Islands, Canary Islands, Ceuta, and Melilla: 3–7 business days
-
Europe (European Union): 5–10 business days
-
Rest of the World: Depending on the destination country
Maderico is not responsible for operational delays caused by transport companies outside of our management.
3. Shipping Address and Customer Responsibility
It is the sole responsibility of the customer to provide a complete, accurate, and up-to-date delivery address (street, number, apartment, door, postal code, and city), as well as a valid contact phone number.
-
Issues due to incorrect details: If delivery cannot be made due to an incomplete or incorrect address, or inability to contact the recipient, we will try to help you manage the issue with the courier company.
-
Redirection and reshipment costs: Any extra costs arising from address corrections, reshipments, or return of the package to our facilities due to incorrect data or rejection by the recipient will be borne entirely by the customer.
4. International Shipments Outside the EU (UK, Switzerland, and Other Countries)
Orders destined for countries outside the European Union (including the United Kingdom and Switzerland) are shipped under DAP (Delivered at Place) terms. This means that the order price does not include local taxes, VAT, or customs management fees of the destination country.
-
Taxes and duties: All import costs, local VAT, and customs fees are exclusively the customer's responsibility and must be paid upon delivery (for example, in the UK, approximately 20% VAT applies on the purchase value plus management fees).
-
Customs clearance: Maderico is not responsible for delays or packages held at customs, nor for providing prior notice regarding the exact amount of these charges.
-
Unclaimed packages: If the customer does not collect the package or refuses it to avoid paying customs duties, shipping costs will not be refunded. As these are personalized products made to order, the cost of the products will also not be refunded.
-
Re-invoiced charges: If the transport company or customs invoices Maderico for any costs resulting from non-payment of duties or abandonment by the customer, we will issue a corresponding invoice to the customer for immediate payment.
5. Package Receipt and Damaged Products
All our products leave our workshops perfectly packaged.
-
Delivery notation: If upon receiving the package you detect that the packaging is open, damaged, or shows visible impact, you must explicitly state it on the delivery driver's screen or delivery note ("Damaged packaging / pending inspection").
-
Handling of damaged items: If the product suffers damage during transport, send us clear photographs of the affected product and packaging within 24 hours of receipt. After verifying the case, we will offer to resend the damaged items or provide a corresponding refund. After this period, we will not be liable for damage attributable to transport.
